Test Results

When I was a junior in high school, I took an aptitude test. Nothing crazy. Just a quick fill-in-the-bubble thing.

A couple days later, I got called down to the office. My test results revealed that I'd make a great nun.

I was invited to spend the upcoming summer at a convent. "Bring your bathing suit. We have a pool," said Sister Mary Clarence (not really her name, but I can't remember).

Sure, I declined the invite, but man. Imagine if I'd taken that path in life. Aside from missing out on a number of great romps in the hay (jokes, jokes), I wonder what else would be different.

Please excuse me, but I get this way when I'm facing big changes. I'll be moving to Chicago to work as a broadcast editor. My clothes need to be packed, my bed dismantled, etc. in less than two weeks.

I'll be leaving New York, guys. And it's seriously like I'm leaving a party while the music is still jumpin.

But, of course, I guess it's better to leave while the party's still poppin'. Nobody wants to be the drunk chick hanging around when the lights come on.

Join me in a collective sigh.

::SIGH::
