So, I'm listening to Pandora as usual (can't get enough of those sensual, 90s-style R&B jams before lunchtime, cuz that's the kinda chick I am.)
And WHOA, flashback! Xscape's "Do You Want To" is playing, and I think back to the days when I enjoyed this video through the static and squiggles of The Box.
Years later, and I still love this joint, and do you wanna know why?
Because, dammit, I want the kinda love that makes me wanna turn off my BlackBerry -- and not just the "standby/off" but the FULL POWER OFF. The kind of off that will have me late for appointments and obligations, and prompt me to straight lie to the homies about my whereabouts. (Might even take a sick day to go to Six Flags.)
That, my friends, is love (or something like it). That's that I-ain't-updated-FB-status-love/no Twittin love/no gmail chatting cuz I'm busy doodling your name on my heart love.
