April 26th - dang, has it been that long since I last updated? Geez-o-Pete. (Don't mind Gingerbread Man, I'm just in a Shrek the Third kinda mood.)
I'd blame my lack of updates on being busy, but writing my bingo story ("To All the Cards I've Dobbed B-4") didn't take a whole entire month.
I guess I've just been busy re-upping. You know, taking it all in so that I might actually have something to share. I've been listening to Amy Winehouse -- and reading about her, too. I'm crazy when it comes to getting my hands on interviews. I could spend hours in Borders doing leisure reading in the Music&Entertainment magazine section. Just one important step in becoming your favorite writer's favorite writer.
Anyway, reading about Ms. Winehouse (or Mrs. Fielder since she just got married) has led me to listen to the Shangri-Las and Velvet Underground. I know, not my usual -- but hey, this post ain't my usual either, huh? Things change -- get with it.
So yeah, today's homework for all you readers is to create an account at Pandora and then you'll need to create a station. Type in Gregory Isaacs or Hall & Oates for all I care, lol. Just listen to somebody new. Broaden your horizons, baby.
Also, pick up a New York Times or something. I forgot how nice it was to read something that wasn't on a monitor .... (kinda like this blog, lol.)
